Dining at Amandari

In Sanskrit and Bahasa Indonesia, Purnama means full moon, complete, infinite, and perfect. The Balinese believe on this day, Chandra, the Moon God, showers his blessings and magic on earth by offering his light and reminding them of their own light within.

Every full moon, Amandari presents a special cultural and culinary experience combining Balinese dance and gamelan orchestra from the neighbouring Kedewatan Village with a curated menu showcasing Balinese favourites and imaginative dishes inspired by native ingredients and seasonal flavours.

Purnama feast dates: 19 August, 17 September, 17 October, 16 November, and 15 December.

Ngejot is an exquisite Balinese Hindu tradition and a symbol of interfaith harmony that involves sharing food with neighbours as an expression of gratitude during celebratory occasions. Upholding this tradition, Amandari offers Ngejot Balinese Feast at The Restaurant during dinner time, which features Balinese finest local cuisine and highlights native rare ingredients such as Balinese mansur rice from Payangan village and Balinese heritage pig from Tabanan regency.
