Longevity Powered by Nature

3- day wellness retreat at Amangiri, Utah

27 - 30 March 2025

Longevity is not solely about prolonging life but living well and in good health. Rooted in Tibetan Bon tradition, Amangiri’s three-night Longevity Powered by Nature retreat aims to alleviate stress by nurturing a closer connection to the natural elements, from the circadian rhythms with the impact of the sunlight to the soothing sensory inputs from the surrounding environment.

With most group sessions held outside against the backdrop of Utah’s desert, the renowned Buddhist monk, Geshe La, leads a transformative experience through movement, breathwork, mantra, chanting and mindfulness meditation, fostering rejuvenation and connection to nature.

Journey to Peace

The makings of mastery

Geshe Yong Dong became a Buddhist monk when he was just 13 years old, taking his vows at the revered Nangzhig Bönpo monastery. In the three decades since, his spiritual journey has taken him all over the world, from studying with the 14th Dalai Lama to introducing and teaching the YungDrung Bon Buddhism in Canada, where he currently resides. Today, he is one of a very few Bon spiritual masters living in the West and qualified to offer this teaching.
