Japanese Grill

Amanjena, Morocco - Nama Restaurant

Amanjena’s Japanese Grill celebrates Washoku cuisine – inscribed by UNESCO for its cultural significance, artistry and sustainable use of natural resources. Centred around a charcoal-fired robata grill, expert chefs illustrate the far-reaching power of Japanese fare. As aromatic smoke from the grill drifts skyward, let authentic yakitori, ramen, tempura and more transport you to the Land of the Rising Sun.

A standalone setting

The Japanese Grill welcomes both hotel guests and visitors for dinner year-round. In summer, dine outdoors overlooking the pool's rose-pink courtyard. As temperatures drop, retreat to the lofty-ceilinged interior where a central fireplace offers warmth and the active robata grill is in full view.

Created for sharing

Traditionally, Washoku’s culinary secrets are passed down through generations over mealtimes enjoyed together. At Japanese Grill, light, well-balanced plates inspired by the restaurant’s communal setting are designed to be savoured  with family and friends. Perfect for sharing, dishes of shishito peppers and assorted tempura vegetables with dipping sauces are best accompanied by a bottle of sake to complement the Japanese Grill’s signature fresh flavours.

Atmospheric grilled cuisine

The finest, locally sourced meat, seafood and vegetables are prepared to perfection over the robata grill. As you dine, savour the aromas of sizzling chicken yakitori, miso-marinated lamb cutlets, charcoal-grilled fish of the day and sweet asparagus.
