International flights 

The nearest airport to Amanwella is Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). From here, it’s a 2.5-hour drive to reach the resort.

 

Entry requirements/visas 

Sri Lanka offers an ETA electronic visa for all foreign nationals, which can be applied for in advance online. Aman recommends that all international guests refer to the official website for information on the latest entry requirements.

From 1 October 2024, Sri Lanka will offer visa-free access to citizens from 35 countries, including India, the United States and the United Kingdom.

 

Airport transfers 

Amanwella is a 2.5-hour drive from Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA). Alternatively, guests can journey 50 minutes by air taxi to Dickwella or 70 minutes by helicopter to Tangalle. The resort’s dedicated concierge team can arrange VIP transfers upon request.
