East facing sanctuaries close to the Kamiya river, Susuki rooms rest on the first-floor and feature floor-to-ceiling windows, bathing the space in natural light and offering views of the moss garden below. Paying homage to the traditional Japanese Ryokan inn with tatami flooring a tokonoma alcove, the 60 square metre (646 square foot) rooms feature a combined bedroom and living area with ample room for relaxation, accompanied by a bathroom with Hinoki Japanese bath, a double vanity and a separate shower and WC for considered privacy and space.
