In season, between June and September, Amandayan also offers a wild mushroom picking experience, guiding guests through forests and across rivers, before inviting them to feast on their foraged delicacies.

The perfect treat for those seeking a moment’s rest and recuperation, the Pavilion Afternoon Tea features a curated selection of sweet and savoury treats paired with a variety of fresh Yunnan mountain teas.
Amandayan Spring Menu - Taste of Flowers and Vegetables
When spring embraces Lijiang, it brings with it new buds on the majestic crab-apple trees that surround Wenchang Palace. Just as the flowers come into bloom, so too do the wild vegetables that grow in the surrounding regions. To experience the season of renewal in Yunnan in its purest form, guests are invited to enjoy a limited-edition spring menu served in the Chinese Restaurant.
As if floating on the hillside high above Dayan Old Town, Amandayan’s open-sided dining pavilion is an exquisite setting for a private breakfast or candlelit dinner. As the morning sun gilds the rooftops below, enjoy a delicious Chinese or Western breakfast or choose to dine at sunset, savouring crispy suckling pig, Yak, mountain delicacies, river fish and more.
