While the remoteness of Indonesia’s Moyo Island is all part of Amanwana’s appeal, a new direct flight from Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) makes the journey to this paradise island easy. 60 minutes after taking off in Bali, you’ll arrive in Sumbawa Besar, a 40-minute boat ride from the resort.
Ngurah Rai International Airport receives multiple international flights daily. Located a 20-minute drive away, Aman Villas at Nusa Dua is the ideal starting point for your Amanwana journey. There are also direct links to Sumbawa Besar from Lombok International Airport (LOP) and seaplane, private plane and helicopter charters can be arranged by Amanwana’s dedicated concierge team.
The Indonesian Immigration Agency has also launched an online pre-arrival application. The application is to be completed via a government portal operated by the Directorate General of Immigration Ministry of Law and Human Rights to obtain an e-VOA - a single-entry visa that is valid for stays of up to 30 days with the purpose of tourism, government visits, business meetings, goods purchasing, or transit only. To apply for the e-VOA and to check the countries eligible, please click here.
The ECD form should be prepared at least three days prior to arrival in Indonesia. One form per family should be completed, following which a QR code will be received. It is advised to save the QR code to a mobile device or print it out ready for arrival. If you arrive at Bali customs without a QR code, you will be asked to complete the form and be required to queue again. The official form itself can be found here.
The best-served airport to Amanwana is Bali’s Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). From here, it's 60-minute flight to Sultan Muhammad Kaharuddin III Airport (SWQ) in Sumbawa Besar.
You can also fly direct to Lombok International Airport (LOP) via a more limited number of international flights, followed by a 35-minute connecting flight to to Sultan Muhammad Kaharuddin III Airport (SWQ) in Sumbawa Besar.
Upon landing at Sultan Muhammad Kaharuddin III Airport (SWQ), guests are promptly welcomed by an Aman representative. A short, 15-minute car transfer will commence as guests are driven from the airport to Amanwana’s private jetty, where an Amanwana Speedboat awaits to escort them to their island sanctuary.
