Dining at Amanwana

amanwana-indonesia.jpg

The Restaurant, looking over the Flores Sea to Medang Island and the mountains of Sumbawa, serves fresh and simple cuisine, much of it made with products grown or reared on the island. The catch of the day, direct from the fishermen’s boats, is a highlight of the daily menu, which can be tailored to individual tastes.

Garden (and sea) to table

The resort’s own garden produces many of the vegetables, fruits and herbs used in the kitchen, whilst fresh seafood is delivered directly from the fisherman’s boats, with dishes featuring traditional Indonesian flavours and the best of island cooking.

Sunsets that require a cocktail

The rainbow colours of dusk offer an occasion to try a new cocktail from the bar, or enjoy a secluded sundowner from Sunset Point, atop the volcanic ridge with uninterrupted and sweeping views of the horizon.

Atmospheric al fresco dining

Dine by the sea as the sun sets, surrounded by lanterns and with your toes dipped in the sand. Enjoy romantic campfire dinners on the beach or a starlight dinner cruise in Amanwana Bay.
