Daily programme of activities
Amanoi’s programme of craft activities includes traditional coconut-leaf weaving – the intricate but easy-to-learn process by which the region’s children make their own toys. At the Beach Club, the Amanoi activity team celebrate the art of sand sculpture, incorporating shells, stones and driftwood into grand sandcastles and other creations. At night, the library can transform into a screening room, with a selection of family films on offer – accompanied by popcorn and cookies.
Practice archery in a breathtaking beach setting
Families can master this ancient art on Amanoi’s magnificent beach with the lush jungle and giant boulders of Nui Chua National Park providing a striking backdrop. Targets are set up on the sand, and expert activity guides will demonstrate how to use a bow and arrow and aim effectively. Suitable for both adults and children from 12 years old, this complimentary activity is perfect for improving focus, coordination and balance, while building physical strength.
Tennis
Amanoi operates a tennis coaching programme specifically designed to help children aged 4–10 develop their racquet skills and improve their game. Guided by a professional instructor, they’ll learn the fundamental techniques needed to make rapid progress – and have fun in the process.
Cookery classes
Ideal for aspiring gastronomes aged 5–11, the Rock Studio’s child-tailored cooking classes are led by the Amanoi kitchen team. Lasting up to three hours, the classes cover a different recipe each day, ranging from Vietnamese rice-paper rolls to cookies, cupcakes and pizzas.
Private painting classes
Let your inner genius (even if hitherto undiscovered) spread its wings with a private painting class guided by one of Vinh Hy Bay’s esteemed local artists. Your easel will be set up in a picturesque outdoor setting like the deck of the lofty Rock Studio. Then, over the course of two hours, you will be guided through all the steps involved in creating your own personal masterpiece
