From 1 September 2024, between 8am–5pm on weekends and public holidays, traffic restrictions will affect the Lingyin Scenic Area. Only private cars (with number plates ending in an odd or even last digit on alternate days) and displaying a green pass (which must be applied for at least one day in advance) can access the area. Taxis are not permitted to enter. For further information, please contact the hotel directly.

Amanfayun Hangzhou

Visas

Most foreign citizens entering China will be required to obtain a visa before they travel. For this reason, Amanfayun recommends that all international guests refer to the Chinese Visa Application Centre website (https://en.nia.gov.cn/) to obtain information on the necessary steps and entry requirements. 

International flights 

There are daily flights from major international hubs into Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport (HGH). While guests are responsible for booking their own international or regional domestic flights to and from Hanghzou, we are happy to offer any assistance needed. 

Airport transfers 

Amanfayun’s woodland setting is a 32km drive south of Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, a journey of around 50 minutes. Amanfayun’s concierge team can arrange private transfers in a choice of vehicles on request.  

  • Foreigners holding diplomatic visas, official visas, courtesy visas, and C visas may enter the country
  • Foreigners who intend to apply for work visas, business visas, personal affairs and family reunion visas must obtain an invitation letter before they can enter the country
  • Foreigners with work visas, personal visas, and family reunion visas that expire after March 28, 2020, need to apply for a new visa to enter China
  • Foreigners with valid work permits may enter the country
  • Foreign students with valid study visas
  • Foreigners holding permanent residence visas in China
